On May 30, participants conducted in-depth discussions on the development trends of engineering scientific calculations. Key issues of computational mechanics, and how computational mechanics serve the country's major needs were discussed. The participating experts visited the Xiong'an Planning Center and had a deep understanding of the significance and current situation of the construction of the Xiong'an New Area, and watched the first launching test of a pure electric small cruise ship led by our Industrial Research Institute of Hebei University of Technology (Anxin). The experts highly praised our university’s thinking of working closely around the "stuck neck" problem in the construction of the Xiong'an New Area, and expressed their intention to carry out scientific research cooperation to the Dean of the Industrial Research Institute Yuan Guangming, and put forward valuable suggestions for further optimizing the hull.
