On the afternoon of November 10, Sarah Louise Wordsworth, Deputy Director of International Programs at Girton College, University of Cambridge, along with Dai Yong, Executive Director of the All-America International Education Association, and two other delegates visited our university. Chen Hongyan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of the university, warmly welcomed the visiting guests. The meeting was attended by the heads of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, the Office of Student Affairs, and the Faculty Development Center of the Office of Human Resources. The meeting was chaired by Zhao Yingying, Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation.

Vice President Chen Hongyan, on behalf of the university, extended a warm welcome to Sarah Louise Wordsworth and the representatives of the All-America International Education Association. She briefly introduced the university's educational profile and achievements in international development, emphasizing the university's commitment to cultivating high-quality talents with a global perspective. She expressed the hope to deepen cooperation with Girton College and the All-America International Education Association to build high-quality international exchange platforms for faculty and students.
Deputy Director Sarah Louise Wordsworth first thanked the university for its warm reception. She provided a detailed overview of Girton College, including its basic situation, collegiate operation mechanism, and educational features, with a focus on high-quality programs such as student study-abroad opportunities and faculty capacity-building initiatives. She expressed strong recognition of the university's educational philosophy and hoped that both sides could sign a framework cooperation agreement to foster closer ties.
Director Zhao Yingying reviewed the previous cooperation achievements between the two sides, introduced the university’s collaborative foundation and resources with the University of Cambridge and the All-America International Education Association, and described a series of activities aimed at enhancing the international competencies of students and faculty. She also stated that the university would continue to deepen cooperation and plan for long-term development.
Executive Director Dai Yong introduced the mature programs and future plans of the All-America International Education Association in areas such as student exchange and faculty development, and expressed the association’s willingness to provide more high-quality programs and advanced educational resources to the university in the future.
During the meeting, Zhu Lei, Director of the Office of Student Affairs, and Guo Liting, Director of the Faculty Development Center of the Office of Human Resources, exchanged views with the guests on student exchange and faculty training matters, and preliminary discussions were held on potential areas of cooperation.
During their visit, the delegation also toured the University History Museum.
