Recently, the National Natural Science Foundation of China announced the review results of the 2021 National Natural Science Foundation of China's application projects during the centralized acceptance period. The 92 projects of our university were funded, and a direct funding of 38.81 million yuan was approved. Among them, there is 1 key project, 1 outstanding youth science fund project, 36 general projects, and 54 youth science fund projects.
This year, our university applied for 450 projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China during the centralized reception period. In addition to the major scientific research instrument development projects, regional innovation development joint fund projects, and major research projects currently under review, 92 projects were funded. The funding rate was 20.44%, which was basically the same as the period last year, and the number of general projects funding increased year by year.
The project "Research on the Key Electromagnetic Basic Issues of High-power and High-frequency New Material Transformers under the Background of Low-Carbon with high efficiency and high quality" declared by Professor Li Yongjian of the School of Electrical Engineering was funded by the key project with a direct cost of 3.01 million yuan; Professor Zhang Xian of the School of Electrical Engineering declared that the project of "Research on Basic Issues of Near-area Electromagnetic Field Wireless Power Transmission" was funded by the Excellent Youth Science Fund project with a direct cost of 2 million yuan.
Recently, the National Natural Science Foundation of China has successively issued guidelines for some major projects, major research plans, international collaborations, projects of various academic departments, etc. The research institute is actively mobilizing various colleges to apply, and strive to achieve a high level of 2021 National Natural Science Fund non-centralized Project organization during the reporting period.
