On the afternoon of September 1, the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation between National University Science Park and Beichen Qingguang Industrial Park was successfully held in Qingguang Town Government of Beichen District. Ma Guowei, Vice President of Hebei University of Technology, Yuan Guangming, Director of National University Science Park Management Center, Zhang Bingzhu, vice governor of Beichen District Government, Ding Qinglan, Director of Science and Technology Bureau, Huo Zhigang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Qingguang, Qiu Zhongyi, Mayor of the Town and other town leaders attended the signing ceremony. The signing ceremony was hosted by Ding Qinglan, Director of the Bureau of Science and Technology of Beichen District.

        During the discussion and exchange session, the people in charge from both sides introduced the overall situation of the park respectively. In his speech, Ma Guowei expressed his gratitude to Beichen District Government and Qingguang Town Government for their strong support to the development and construction of HEBUT, and introduced the achievements of the university in scientific research, talent training and social services, as well as the construction and operation of the National University Science Park. He pointed out that Hebei University of Technology's "double first-class" discipline construction and Beichen District's leading industrial development is highly integrated, and there is a wide scope for cooperation. The signing of the cooperation between the two sides is an important step for the government of Beichen District to build a full chain incubation system in the National University Science Park of Hebei University of Technology and it will help our students and teachers' innovation and entrepreneurship projects to achieve industrial development. He hoped that the two sides would strengthen communication, carry out all-round cooperation and jointly promote the economic and social development of Beichen District.

        In his speech, Zhang Bingzhu pointed out that Hebei University of Technology is a national "double first-class" construction university. It has abundant resources of science and technology and human resources. It is also a valuable resource to promote the economic and social development of Beichen District. The industrial park jointly built an industrialization base, built a platform for school-local cooperation, supplemented and strengthened the incubation chain of the National University Science Park of Hebei University of Technology, and introduced technology and human resources for Qingguang Industrial Park. He hoped that Hebei University of Technology can introduce more high-quality innovation and entrepreneurship projects for teachers and students and enterprises with high growth potential into Qingguang Industrial Park.

        After the signing ceremony, the participants went to Qingguang Industrial Park to hold the unveiling ceremony of the Industrialization Base of the National University Science Park of Hebei University of Technology.

        In the follow-up, the two parties will carry out in-depth communication and exchanges in terms of project entry procedures, implementation of support policies, technology and human resources sharing, etc. Through the combination of introduction and cultivation, we will let more high-quality enterprises and projects land in Beichen, and promote Beichen’s economic and social development.
