On August 24th and 25th, the final of the 7th "Internet Plus" College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in Hebei Province was held in Baoding College.  37 projects of our university entered the preliminary round of Hebei Province, and 20 projects entered the provincial finals, meanwhile 8 projects entered the top 50 qualifying and won the championship and runners-up. In the end, 8 projects won gold awards (reaching the highest gold award limit in colleges and universities, among which 5 events in the master circuit and 3 events in the Youth Red Dream Building Journey), and won the first prize in the provincial competition which is the best in history!

        The Youth League Committee of the university attaches great importance to the organization and promotion of the competition and pay attention to the preparation and polishing of the competition, which expands the promotion through large scale scientific and technological works exhibitions, "Here You Talk" Academic Zhixing Hall and other forms. There are 215 teachers and 5838 students who participated in total, and the content of the works involved more than 30 fields such as aerospace satellites, intelligent manufacturing, information technology, rural revitalization, cultural creativity, and medical equipment. Since the launch of the university competition in September last year, thanks to the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of HEBUT and the Youth League Committee of the School of Artificial Intelligence, the level of the project has been continuously improved through project selection, team guidance, expert guidance, and simulation roadshows. The teachers and students from the majors of Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Science, Energy and Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Civil and Transportation Engineering insisted on participating in multiple rounds of special summer training, and worked together to practice "team gymnastics" in preparation for the competition.

        The "Internet Plus" College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is the province's largest innovation and entrepreneurship event with the widest range of participation. The competition contains the most comprehensive coverage of colleges and universities, the most involved team and the highest level of participation, which generates the greatest social impact. In the next step, the Youth League Committee of the university will follow the concepts of “promoting learning with competition”, “promoting research with competition” and “promoting innovation with competition”, build a new platform for the integration of industry and education, expand the new pattern of innovative education, help new ways of talent training, and further polish the country. The competition helps our students achieve new breakthroughs in the national competition.
