四、申请条件
1.非中国籍公民，身体健康；
2.学历和年龄要求：
申请攻读硕士学位者，应当具有学士学位或同等学力，学习成绩优秀，年龄一般不超过30周岁；
申请攻读博士学位者，应当具有硕士学位或同等学力，学习成绩优秀，年龄一般不超过40周岁。
3.语言要求：申请以英文为专业教学语言的，英文水平应达到TOEFL 成绩85分以上或 IELTS 成绩6.0分以上水平。
五、申请流程
1.申请人登录“中国政府奖学金来华留学管理信息系统”（http://www.campuschina.org），在线填写《中国政府奖学金申请表》并提交所需申请材料；
2.申请人登录“河北工业大学来华留学网上报名系统”（https://hebut.17gz.org/member/login.do），在线填写申请信息并提交所需申请材料。
六、申请材料
1.《中国政府奖学金申请表》（在线填写）；
2. 护照首页。申请人须提交有效期晚于2023年3月1日本人普通护照的首页清晰扫描件，如现持有护照有效期不符合要求，请及时换发新护照。对于因客观原因无法在提交申请前办理护照的申请人，经受理机构允许后，可提交包含本人“英文姓名、性别、国籍、出生日期”等信息的有效证件或证明文件；
3. 经公证的最高学历证明。如申请人为在校学生，须提交本人就读学校出具的预计毕业证明或在学证明；
4. 学习成绩单。中英文以外文本须附经公证的中文或英文的译文；
5. 语言能力证明。申请人应根据学校要求提供相应的语言能力证明，如雅思或托福成绩单；
6. 来华学习或研究计划。研究生不少于1000字，用中文或英文书写；
7. 推荐信。须提交两名教授或副教授的推荐信，用中文或英文书写；
8．《外国人体格检查表》。须提交《外国人体格检查表》复印件（原件自行保存，此表格由中国卫生检疫部门统一印制，须英文填写）。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查表》中要求的项目进行检查。缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查表》无效。检查结果有效期为6个月；
9. 无犯罪记录证明。申请人须提交由所在地公安机关出具的有效期内的无犯罪记录证明，通常应为提交申请之日前6个月以内的证明文件。
七、录取及通知
1.河北工业大学向国家留学基金管理委员会提交推荐人选名单及申请材料；
2.国家留学基金管理委员会组织有关院校和专家对推荐人选进行资格和学术审核，确定录取人选；
3.国家留学基金管理委员会通知河北工业大学录取结果，由河北工业大学通知申请人。

3. Scholarship Coverage
(1) Tuition fees;
(2) Free university dormitory or accommodation subsidy;
(3) Stipend:
Master’s students: CNY 3,000 per month;
Doctoral students: CNY 3,500 per month.
(4) Comprehensive medical insurance: CNY 800 per person per year.
4. Eligibility
To be eligible, an applicant must:
(1) be a citizen of a country other than the PRC and in good health both mentally and physically;
(2) be an academically excellent holder of a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent under the age of 30 when applying for a Master’s program;
be an academically excellent holder of a Master’s degree or its equivalent under the age of 40 when applying for a doctoral program;
(3) have TOEFL results not lower than 85 or IELTS results not lower than 6.0.
5. Application Process
(1) An applicant shall fill in and submit the Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship online via the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System (http://www.campuschina.org);
(2) An applicant shall fill in and submit the application materials online via the Online Application System of Hebut for International Students (https://hebut.17gz.org/member/login.do).
6. Application Documents
(1) Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (filled in online);
(2) A scanned copy of the Passport Information Page. An applicant shall submit a clear scanned copy of the information page of his/her passport that will not expire on or before March 1, 2023. Renew the passport if the requirement is not met. An applicant who fails to apply for a passport due to objective reasons may submit valid documentation or documentary evidence that carries information about the full English name, sex, nationality and date of birth of the applicant upon the approval of Hebut;
(3) Diploma and certificate of highest education (notarized photocopy). An applicant who is a current university student shall submit the certificate of expected graduation or student status issued by his/her university;
(4) Academic transcripts. Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English shall be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English;
(5) Certificate of language proficiency. An applicant shall provide a certificate of English proficiency, such as the IELTS or TOEFL test report;
(6) A study or research plan written in English (no less than 1000 words/characters for postgraduates);
(7) Recommendation letters. An applicant for a postgraduate program shall submit two recommendation letters in Chinese or in English from professors or associate professors;
(8) An applicant shall submit a photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form (the original document, printed by Chinese quarantine authorities, shall be filled in in English and kept by the applicant). The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are invalid. Medical examination results are valid for only six months;
(9) An applicant shall submit a valid Certificate of Non-Criminal Record (or Police Clearance Certificate) issued by the local public security (such as the police station), usually issued within six months prior to the submission date of the application.
7. Admission Confirmation
(1) Hebut shall submit the recommended candidates list and their application documents to the China Scholarship Council (CSC);
(2) The CSC will organize designated universities and experts concerned to examine applicants’ eligibility and academic performance before finalizing the short-list candidates;
(3) The CSC will notify the admission results to Hebut that will subsequently have the applicant informed.
