Associate Professor Chen He Won the IEEE TIE Outstanding Paper Award

From October 13 to 16, the 47th Annual Meeting of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society announced the 2021 IEEE Industrial Electronics Society  blockbuster awards. As the first author, Chen He, associate professor of the School of Artificial Intelligence of our school, was awarded the 2021 IEEE Outstanding Paper for the IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics with the title of “Nonlinear Control of Underactuated Systems Subject to Both Actuated and Unactuated State Constraints With Experimental Verification”, which is published in the top international journal IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics.

The IEEE TIE Outstanding Paper Award was established in 1997. It is awarded once a year and awarded to the most original and academic papers published on the journal in the previous year. In 2020, IEEE TIE published more than 1,000 papers. After the nomination of the editorial board, the recommendation of the chief editor, the review of the award committee and the discussion and confirmation of the IEEE IES AdCom, only 3 papers were awarded the 2021 Outstanding Paper Award.
