Delegation of Massey University, New Zealand, Visits Hebei University of Technology
Professor Stephen Marsland and Dr. Wang Ruili visited our university on April 4th. Professor Yu Ming, director of Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, Professor Gao Suying, dean of School of International Education, Mr. Bai Zhonghang, vice-dean of School of International Education received the delegation at the meeting room. The two sides reached an agreement concerning the cooperation model, credits certification and curriculum planning.
On 5th, Professor Tan Runhua, vice-president of Hebei University of Technology, received Professor Stuart Morriss，vice-president of Massey University, and his delegation at the meeting room at Beichen Campus. Professor Tan Runhua and Professor Stuart Morriss signed the 1+1 Master Degree Collaborative Agreement between the two universities. After the signing, they exchanged gifts on behalf of the respective university.
In the afternoon, companied by the Professor Yu Ming and Professor Gao Suying, the Massey delegation visited History Museum of Hebei University of Technology.
Massey University is one of New Zealand's largest universities, with approximately 35,000 students, 17,000 of whom are extramural or distance learning students. Massey University has campuses in Palmerston North (sites at Turitea and Hokowhitu), Wellington (in the suburb of Mount Cook) and Auckland (at Albany). It also has the nation's largest business college accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Research is undertaken on all three campuses. More than 3000 international students from more than 100 countries study at the university.
